Yesterday saw the launch of GoReport’s ‘Survey Tech’ showcase event to an enthusiastic and full house at the RICS office Belfast.
The idea behind the event was to open up a dialogue with the surveyors of Northern Ireland and those interested in making more use of technology to add efficiencies, capabilities and value to their surveying business on a daily basis.
The event was opened up by RICS Matrix chairman Michael McGuire who gave a brief history of the technology that surveyors have used to date and the importance of embracing new and future technologies, followed by GoReport's Conor Moran’s overview of mobile technology opportunities available to us in today’s market.
The rest of the showcase consisted of demonstrations by GoReport on mobile data capture and report generation as a solution.
The event was drawn to a close with a prize draw for all attendees to win a fantastic new Leica Disto D110 - which was won by Eddie McIntosh from Belfast City Gov.
