PathXL updates across core product sets

Over the last six months the PathXL team have been developing and implementing a number of exciting product updates and new features generating a huge amount of interest from old and new customers alike.

The new developments are across PathXL core product sets, with key additions in TissueMark, Xplore, TMA and Tutor as highlighted below:

TissueMark®
3 new methods of tumor cell counts on H&E samples
The latest addition to the TissueMark platform uses ground-breaking technology to provide you with three separate methods for tumor cell enumeration. This is invaluable in defining thresholds for tumor cell sufficiency in FFPE samples, ensuring quality and precision in molecular tests.
This update enables TissueMark to support large scale research laboratories, CROs and pharma, not only providing automated annotation of solid tumor samples but conducting quantitative analysis of tumor content on H&E digital slides. Providing accurate tumor annotation and cell quantification ensures reliability and quality in macrodissection and molecular profiling.

Xplore
Advanced image analysis data import and management
Configurable and highly flexible, Xplore is designed for easy integration both into existing digital pathology programmes and with third party applications. A recent development in the software means that Xplore now supports integration with PathXL TMA module, making TMA cores and associated data available directly within Xplore.
This integration provides rapid and easy access to consensus manual biomarker scores, and even image analysis data from a range of third party providers, allowing the user to run advanced searches across multiple TMAs, and/or whole slide images for specific biomarkers and compare scoring results.

TMA
New wizard makes it possible to copy scoring criteria and maps across multiple different studies
Configuring TMA studies is now even easier with the addition of a new wizard which makes it possible to re-use scoring criteria and TMA maps across multiple studies.
Our unique TMA management tool allows you to quickly and easily set up TMA scoring studies using a wizard based tool that guides you step-by-step through the process of de-arraying TMA slides, associated metadata, assign self-configured scoring criteria and make it available to users globally for scoring.
Our TMA module now integrates with our next generation research management platform: join our webinar on Tuesday 30th June to learn more.

Tablet Viewer
Next Generation Tablet Viewer – in Partnership with University of Copenhagen
The tablet based viewer is a completely new addition to the PathXL product set, giving users the ability to view virtual slides, anytime, from any location using an iPad (iOS), windows or android tablet.
PathXL Tablet Viewer integrates seamlessly with existing customers who use Tutor on desktop/web and offers a mobile friendly, touch screen menu with dedicated tablet capabilities. Users can view virtual slides, as well as any other media and content within their Tutor accounts, ensuring students have the most interactive experience possible.
